Hampton Lake -When John Reed decided to offer a new community to the Lowcountry, he thought it was going to be a golf community. After reevaluating the market and wish lists of his best prospects and buyers, he nixed the golf community idea (although golf memberships to either Berkeley Hall or Hampton Hall are available to Hampton Lake residents). Instead, he opted to offer a 165-acre lake, making Hampton Lake the first opportunity for folks in our area to enjoy freshwater lakeside living.
